You can use Shift+Ins to paste text.
From PuTTY documentation: Pasting is done using the right button (or the middle mouse button, if you have a three-button mouse and have set it up; see section 4.11.2). (Pressing Shift-Ins, or selecting ‘Paste’ from the Ctrl+right-click context menu, have the same effect.) When you click the right mouse button, PuTTY will read whatever is in the Windows clipboard and paste it into your session, exactly as if it had been typed at the keyboard.
There aren’t enough test kits to test everyone with symptoms of Covid-19. There’s not enough gloves, gowns & face masks to protect healthcare staff. There’s no vaccine & no cure. The federal government believes that coronavirus will just disappear one day, so they’re living in fantasyland. We’re screwed.
So what can we do to protect ourselves & others from getting sick? Wash your hands every time before you touch your eyes, nose or mouth. Or at least before & after you go out, after you use the toilet & before you eat. Every time! If you do, you will greatly decrease the chance you will get sick or get someone else sick.
Hand washing is a significant part of social distancing. Even if you keep 6 feet away from everyone else, you’re still touching things that others have previously touched & others will touch after you’re gone. So washing away the germs before you leave them for someone else to pick up or after you’ve picked up someone else’s germs is very effective in stopping the spread of coronavirus.
A few months after I moved to Portland in early 2017, 3 men were stabbed, 2 died, protecting 2 black teenage girls from a white supremacist who was yelling racist slurs and threatening them with a hunting knife.
As I don’t drive, I depend on TriMet for most of my transportation so I closely followed this story. One of the reasons I moved to Portland was an usable public transit system. I was dismayed to think that it was so dangerous to use that I might get knifed just riding on it.
Many people were worried that in this day and age of our president supporting and encouraging white supremacists, Jeremy Christian might somehow be found not guilty. He tried to claim he only acted in self defense. Obviously, the jurors didn’t buy it; they unanimously found him guilty of all 12 counts he was accused of.
I have to say that I was greatly relieved. Oregon has a history of racial discrimination but it was relieving to hear everybody’s positive reaction to the verdict and no negative reaction at all.
